Mino Spiga

Mino Spiga lives and works in San Sperate.

He normally works with stone and copper producing works demonstrating how he is bound to his village, his people, and country life where man is one face and farming civilisation is the other one. In his compositions, avoiding "cliches" and stereotypes, he easily portrays domestic life.

His bas-reliefs are open pages in his world, where  country life tends to be swallowed up by civilization and progress. Mino Spiga also interprets sacred art, with his Christs which seem to reveal the pains of the world.

His is a way of making art rich and communicative.
