Giampiero Sanna
Giampiero Sanna is a fluke artist like others in San Sperate. He is 54 years old and for four years he has been sculpting antique Sardinian roofing tiles. Although he revealed artistic talent as a child, he didn't work towards developing this talent until years later. He emigrated to North Italy from 1969 to 1973 to work and returned to Sardinia where he continued working until the age of 50 when he was obliged to retire for health reasons.From that moment on, he began his artistic works and began collecting antique Sardinian roofing tiles wherever he could find them to make sculptures representing his village and region and participating in shows and exhibitions gathering public appreciation. This public approval motivates him to improve and perfect his creations. Gianfranco Pinna
Gianfranco Pinna was born in San Sperate in 1970 and after receiving his diploma at a technical institute, and admission to the Engineering Faculty at the University, he developed a passion for sculpture. Since 1995 this attraction became so strong that he is now fully dedicated to the art. His research and works of stone and wood wedging take simple and complex forms of strong symbolic significance. Giuliano Deidda
Giuliano Deidda, born in San Sperate in 1960, stood out for his artistic talents as a child. He was very good at drawing and over time he began sculpting stone, creating works representing his country and its costumes. Talented and creative, he began sculpting wood using grape vines and juniper tree branches.
